Game On Training Partners With Bacon

In 2019, Luther Williams Field will see more improvements. From last years major upgrades to concessions, seating bowl and new seating areas, the Bacon are also adding a Tiki Bar and Kid’s Zone. Now, the Kid’s Zone will have a naming rights partner, Game On Training. Game On Training is home of Middle Georgia’s most state-of-the-art indoor baseball and softball training facilities with 8 locations and 80 travel teams serving over 1200 players.

The local baseball and softball training facility will be named after the new area that kids will be playing whiffle ball and using a batting cage in this coming summer.

“This partnership couldn’t have made anymore sense.” Said Team President of the Bacon, Brandon Raphael. “The new Kid’s Zone will be a great place for families to gather before and during the game. In addition, we will have a plethora of young baseball and softball players coming through this new area, and what a better way to enhance their skills and fundamentals of the game with Game On Training..”

The Kid’s Zone will have a batting cage that will be multipurpose. One, for the Bacon players to warm up before every game. And two, for kids to use as a  baseball related activity during the game. Game On Training  plans to have trainers on site of the area during selected Bacon home games to help give pointers and tips to the young ballplayers coming to the games.

“One of the many goals of our staff is to promote baseball and softball fundamentals. Our staff strive to promote good character and teach life skills while serving as positive role models both on and off the field. The partnership with Macon Bacon and creation of the Kid’s Zone will allow many youths to accelerate their game to the next level in a positive environment.” said CEO and Founder of Game On Training, Lester Miller.

The Kid’s Zone will be complete in early May, along with the new Tiki Bar
