Macon Bacon to face Eggs in fall championship game on Oct. 24

MACON, Ga. – The Macon Bacon will face its alter-ego squad, the Eggs, in a fall championship game at 4 p.m. Oct. 24 at Luther Williams Field.

World Series champion Ryan Klesko, who played eight seasons with the Atlanta Braves, will return as the manager of the Bacon for this October contest.

In addition to the baseball game, fans will be treated to Halloween-themed events throughout the concourse, including a costume contest, trunk-or-treat and pumpkin painting. Concessions items and team apparel will be sold during the event.
